An Act to amend the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Ordinance, 1955 (No. 26 of 1955). |
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: — |
Short title and commencement |
1. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 1967, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint. |

3. Section 26 of the Ordinance is hereby amended —

Amendment of section 27 |
4. Section 27 of the Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the words “one thousand dollars” appearing therein and substituting therefor the words “two thousand dollars”. |
Amendment of section 28 |
5. Section 28 of the Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the words “six months” and “five hundred dollars” appearing therein and substituting therefor the words “twelve months” and “two thousand dollars” respectively. |
Miscellaneous amendments |
6.—(1) The following provisions of the Ordinance are hereby amended by deleting the words “Federal Minister” wherever they appear therein and substituting therefor in each case the word “Minister”: —
