An Act to amend certain Statutes of the Republic of Singapore.
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:
Short title
1.  This Act may be cited as the Statutes (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act, 1982.
Miscellaneous amendments
2.  The provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Act (referred to in this Act as the specified provisions) are amended in the manner set out in the second column.
Compulsory acquisition of property before commencement of Act not to be called in question
3.—(1)  No compulsory acquisition of any immovable property before the commencement of this Act shall be called in question in any court on the ground that the acquisition was not in compliance with any of the specified provisions in force before the commencement of this Act.
(2)  Any action or proceedings pending after the commencement of this Act in any court in respect of any matter to which subsection (1) applies shall be dismissed on application by any party, and the court may make such order as to costs as it thinks fit.
