An Act to amend the Police Force Ordinance, 1958 (No. 32 of 1958). |
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: — |
Short title and commencement |
1. This Act may be cited as the Police Force (Amendment) Act, 1967, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint. |
Repeal and re-enactment of section 59 |
Amendment of section 60 |
3. Section 60 of the Ordinanee is hereby amended —

Repeal and re-enactment of section 61 |
4. Section 61 of the Ordinance is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor: —

Amendment of section 63 |
5. Section 63 of the Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the words “special police officer” appearing in the first line thereof and substituting therefor the word “volunteer”. |
New section 67A |
6. The Ordinance is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 67 thereof the following new section: —
