Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: — |
Short title |
1. This Act may be cited as the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1971. |
New section 17A |
Avoidance of doubt |
3. For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby declared that any special tax levied under section 17 of the Customs Act which has been due and owing prior to the date of the coming into operation of this Act may be recovered in the manner provided in section 17A of the said Act. |
