Final Supply (FY1996) Bill

An Act for making final provision to meet additional expenditure for the financial year 1st April 1996 to 31st March 1997.

Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Final Supply (FY1996) Act 1997.

Supply $245,346,700 and $1,899,757,330

2.—(1) A further sum of $245,346,700, not otherwise provided for by the Supply Act 1996 (Act 14 of 1996) and the Supplementary Supply (No. 2) Act 1996 (Act 29 of 1996), is authorised to be issued from the Consolidated Fund for the period from 1st April 1996 to 31st March 1997.

(2) A further sum of $1,899,757,330, not otherwise provided for by the Supply Act 1996 and the Supplementary Supply (No. 2) Act 1996, is authorised to be issued from the Development Fund for the period from 1st April 1996 to 31st March 1997.

(3) The sums specified in subsections (1) and (2) are appropriated for the purposes of the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule.
