Read the first time on 26th February 1999.
An Act to provide for the issue from the Consolidated Fund and the Development Fund of the sums necessary to meet the estimated expenditure for the financial year 1st April 1999 to 31st March 2000.
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:
Short title and commencement
1.  This Act may be cited as the Supply Act 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1999.
Supply $38,958,979,030 and $33,179,068,000
2.—(1)  A sum not exceeding $38,958,979,030 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Consolidated Fund for the period from 1st April 1999 to 31st March 2000.
(2)  A sum not exceeding $33,179,068,000 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Development Fund for the period from 1st April 1999 to 31st March 2000.
(3)  The sums specified in subsections (1) and (2) are hereby appropriated for the purposes of the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule.
