Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Banking (Publication of Accounts) Regulations.
Definition
2.  In these Regulations, “individual” means a single natural person.
Publication of accounts in newspapers
3.  The annual balance-sheet, profit and loss account and other information which a bank is required to publish under section 25 (2) and (3) shall —
(a)in the case of a bank which has accepted during the financial year to which those statements relate any interest-bearing deposit of less than $250,000 in Singapore dollars from any individual resident in Singapore (except from directors and employees of the bank), be published in at least 4 local daily newspapers, one each published in the Malay, Chinese, Tamil and English language; and
(b)in the case of any other bank, be published in at least one local English language daily newspaper.
