Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Building Control (Exemption from Independence of Accredited Checker) Notification.

Exemption

2. Section 17(1) of the Act shall not apply to any building or building works —

(a)	carried out for the Housing and Development Board, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore or the Port of Singapore Authority; and
(b)	the plans of which have been approved by a qualified person in accordance with an authorisation by the Building Authority under section 3(2) of the Act.
