Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Customs (Authorised Piers and Places for Import by Sea) Regulations.
Authorised piers and places for import by sea
2.  The authorised piers and places for import by sea —
(a)of dutiable goods, except the dutiable goods specified in paragraphs (b), (c), (d) and (e), shall be —
(i)the free trade zones; and
(ii)the jetty at Changi Creek;
(b)of dutiable personal effects only shall be —
(i)the free trade zones;
(ii)the Jurong Marine Base (only for personnel who are engaged in the off-shore oil drilling operations);
(iii)the Loyang Off-shore Base (only for personnel who are engaged in the off-shore oil drilling operations);
(iv)the jetty at Changi Creek;
(v)World Trade Centre, No. 1 Maritime Square;
(vi)the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, No. 50 Tanah Merah Ferry Road; and
(vii)the Changi Ferry Terminal, No. 30 Changi Ferry Road;
(c)of petroleum only shall be —
(i)the free trade zones; and
(ii)the premises licensed under Part VI or VII of the Act to warehouse or manufacture petroleum;
(d e)of goods classified as Group I Dangerous Goods by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore shall be the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Dangerous Goods Landing Area, Tuas Jetty; and
(e f)of oil drilling materials and equipment other than liquor and tobacco destined for or consigned from off-shore oil drilling bases shall be —
(i)the free trade zones;
(ii)the Jurong Marine Base; and
(iii)the Loyang Off-shore Base.
Other pier or place for import of goods by sea to be approved by Director-General
3.  Notwithstanding regulation 2, dutiable goods may be imported by sea at any pier or place, other than those specified in regulation 2, which may be approved by the Director-General.
