Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme — Exemption) Notification.

Exemption from Scheme

2. Any member —

(a)	who has made voluntary contributions to the Fund or has received cash grants from the Government under section 14 of the Act; and
(b)	who was not insured under the Dependants’ Protection Insurance Scheme established under section 41 of the Act immediately before the voluntary contribution to the Fund or the grant by the Government was made,

shall be exempted from the Scheme.
