Citation |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Schools Magazines) Regulations. |
Definitions |
2. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —

Approval of principal of school |
Director to receive every issue of school magazine |
4. The principal of the school shall send one copy of every issue of the school magazine to the Director. |
Director to issue instructions |
5. If the Director is satisfied that any school magazine has published or is likely to publish matters prejudicial to the discipline of the school or the interests of Singapore he shall instruct the principal of the school to stop the publication, distribution or circulation, as the case may be, of such school magazine and it shall be the duty of the principal of the school to take all measures necessary for the enforcement of the instructions. |

6.—(1) A principal of a school may exercise his power to expel a pupil —

7. Nothing in these Regulations shall exempt the principal of a school, the editor or the publisher of a school magazine from complying with the requirements of any law regulating the publication of periodicals in Singapore. |
