| Citation |
| 1. This Order may be cited as the Factories (Hoists and Lifts) (Exemption) Order. |
| Exemption of lifts from section 29 of Act |
| 2. Section 29 of the Act shall not apply to any lift which has been inspected and tested under the Buildings and Common Property (Maintenance and Management) Rules (Cap. 30, R 1) and for which a certificate of maintenance has been issued by the Commissioner of Buildings. [G.N. No. S 523/2000] |
