The Minister for Home Affairs has declared the following places to be prisons for the purposes of the Act and defines the said places to be prisons for the custody of all classes of prisoners, convicted, remanded or detained under any written law:

Abingdon Prison/Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Moon Crescent, Singapore 1749.
