Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Elections (Designation of Group Representation Constituencies) Order.

Group Representation Constituencies

2. The group representation constituencies specified —

(a)	in Part I of the Schedule are designated under section 8A (1)(b)(i) of the Act as constituencies where at least one of the candidates in each group shall be a person belonging to the Malay community; and
(b)	in Part II of the Schedule are designated under section 8A (1)(b)(ii) of the Act as constituencies where at least one of the candidates shall be a person belonging to the Indian or other minority communities.
