WHEREAS the Minister for Law is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made by the Legislature of the Commonwealth, States and Territories of Australia specified in the Schedule for the enforcement within the Commonwealth, States and Territories of Judgments obtained in the High Court and the Court of Appeal of Singapore:
NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Law, in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 5 of the Reciprocal Enforcement of Commonwealth Judgments Act, hereby declares that the provisions of the Act shall extend to judgments obtained in the court specified in the second column of the Schedule being superior courts of the Commonwealth, States or Territories set out opposite thereto in the first column, in the like manner as the Act extends to judgments obtained in a superior court in the United Kingdom.
