Citation |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Fees) Regulations. |
Fees in respect of verification of weights, weighing and measuring instruments |
2. The following fees are to be paid to the Government in respect of the verification or re-verification of weights, weighing and measuring instruments:

3. Where the verification or re-verification of weights, weighing and measuring instruments is carried out by inspectors and assistant inspectors of weights and measures at any place outside the Weights and Measures Office, Ministry of Trade and Industry, there shall be paid to the Government —

Fees to be paid whether weight, etc., are correct or not |
4. The fees referred to in regulations 2 and 3 shall be paid whether or not the weights or the weighing or measuring instruments are found correct or stamped as having been verified or re-verified. |

5. The fee payable for the issue or renewal of a licence to manufacture for sale or to repair any weighing or measuring instruments for use for trade shall be $120 for each year the licence is to be or to remain in force. [S 263/92 wef 12/06/1992] |
