(Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use)
(Amendment) Rules 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) (Amendment) Rules 2012 and shall come into operation on 3rd January 2012.

Amendment of rule 108

2. Rule 108(1) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules (R 9) is amended by deleting the words “motor spirit in the fuel tank” and substituting the words “motor fuel in each fuel tank”.
