(Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2025

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006, the Minister for National Development makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006 (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 2025 and comes into operation on 7 February 2025.

Amendment of Part 1 of Appendices of Schedule

2. In the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 2006, in the Schedule, in the Appendices, in Part 1, under the heading “CLASS REPTILIA (REPTILES)”, under taxon V relating to “TESTUDINES”, under sub‑heading H (“Geoemydidae (Box turtles, freshwater turtles)”), delete items 21, 23, 26, 34, 35 and 40.
