(No. 7) Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Singapore Sports Council — Exemption) (No. 7) Order 2021.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 3 Stadium Drive, Singapore 397630 at 12 noon on 8 March 2022;

“organiser” means the Singapore Sports Council established by section 3 of the Singapore Sports Council Act;

“promotion” means the promotion called “GAMEON NILA Jejak Warisan III” that is to be made available from 1 January 2022 to 28 February 2022 (both dates inclusive) on the ActiveSG mobile application platform maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act.

Exemptions

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The organiser is exempt from sections 13, 15 and 17 of the Act on 31 December 2021 in respect of any prohibited act under any of those sections carried out for the purposes of the promotion and the draw.

(3) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
