Central Provident Fund Act
(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Medisave Account Withdrawals) (Amendment) Regulations 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1)(j) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower, after consultation with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Medisave Account Withdrawals) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st March 2002.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Central Provident Fund (Medisave Account Withdrawals) Regulations 2001 (G.N. No. S 570/2001) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following item:
“
7. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
 
With effect from 1st March 2002
 
$100 per treatment or the total credit balance in the member’s medisave account, whichever is the lower.
”.
