(COVID-19 Access Restrictions and Clearance)
(Amendment No. 5) Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act 1976, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) (Amendment No. 5) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 24 February 2022.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2(1) of the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 273/2021) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after sub‑paragraph (iv) of paragraph (a) of the definition of “recovered individual”, the following sub‑paragraph:
(v)an antigen rapid test in Singapore (whether before, on or after 23 February 2022) that is performed by or under the direction of an approved test provider or is self‑administered by the individual under the supervision of an approved test provider;”;
(b)by deleting the word “diagnosed” in paragraph (b) of the definition of “recovered individual” and substituting the word “assessed”; and
(c)by deleting the words “or (iv)” in the definition of “Type T recovered individual” and substituting the words “, (iv) or (v)”.
Amendment of regulation 6
3.  Regulation 6 of the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) Regulations 2021 is amended —
(a)by deleting the word “diagnosed” in paragraphs (2)(a) and (b) and (5) and substituting in each case the word “assessed”;
(b)by deleting the word “diagnosis” in paragraphs (2)(a)(i) and (b)(i) and (5)(a) and substituting in each case the word “assessment”;
(c)by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub‑paragraph (D) of paragraph (2)(a)(i), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:
(E)an antigen rapid test in Singapore (whether before, on or after 23 February 2022) that is performed by or under the direction of an approved test provider or is self‑administered by the individual under the supervision of an approved test provider; and”;
(d)by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub‑paragraph (C) of paragraph (2)(b)(i), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:
(D)an antigen rapid test in Singapore (whether before, on or after 23 February 2022) that is performed by or under the direction of an approved test provider or is self‑administered by the individual under the supervision of an approved test provider; and”; and
(e)by inserting, immediately after sub‑paragraph (iv) of paragraph (5)(a), the following sub‑paragraph:
(v)an antigen rapid test in Singapore (whether before, on or after 23 February 2022) that is performed by or under the direction of an approved test provider or is self‑administered by the individual under the supervision of an approved test provider;”.
