Women’s Charter
(Registration of Marriages)
(Amendment) Rules 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 180(1) of the Women’s Charter, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Form A of the Schedule to the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) Rules (R 3) is amended by deleting the words “High Court” wherever they appear and substituting in each case the words “General Division of the High Court”.
