Auxiliary Police Forces
(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 104 of the Police Force Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Auxiliary Police Forces (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. The Auxiliary Police Forces Regulations (Rg 2) are amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “High Court” wherever they appear in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “General Division of the High Court”:

Regulation 28(a)

Regulation 29(1), (2) and (3);

(b)

by deleting the words “the Court” wherever they appear in the following provision and substituting in each case the words “the General Division of the High Court”:

Regulation 29(2) and (3); and

(c)

by deleting the words “High Court” in the following provision and substituting the words “General Division of High Court”:

Regulation 29 (regulation heading).
