Immigration (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55(1) of the Immigration Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Immigration Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$65” in item 1(a) and substituting “$100”;
(b)	by deleting “$70” in item 2(a) and substituting “$100”;
(c)	by deleting “$20” in item 6 and substituting “$30”;
(d)	by deleting “$25” in item 7(a) and substituting “$50”;
(e)	by deleting “$50” in item 7(b) and substituting “$100”;
(f)	by deleting “$20” in item 8(b)(ii) and substituting “$40”;
(g)	by deleting “$20” in item 9 and substituting “$40”; and
(h)	by deleting “$100” in item 10 and substituting “$200”.
