(Exemption) (No. 17)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 17) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Kingdom of Gold” promotion to be held from 16 March 2016 to 8 May 2016 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	the “Daily Kiosk Game” to be held as part of that promotion at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino of Marina Bay Sands from 18 March 2016 to 5 May 2016 (both dates inclusive); and
(c)	the “Finale Lucky Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands in 5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily from 6 May 2016 to 8 May 2016 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
