(Singapore Sports Council —
Exemption) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Singapore Sports Council — Exemption) Order 2022.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 3 Stadium Drive, Singapore 397630 at 12 noon on 16 May 2022;

“organiser” means the Singapore Sports Council established by section 3 of the Singapore Sports Council Act 1973;

“promotion” means the promotion called “GAMEON NILA March — April 2022” that is to be made available from 1 March 2022 to 30 April 2022 (both dates inclusive) on the ActiveSG mobile application platform maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act 2004.

Exemptions

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The organiser is exempt from sections 13, 15 and 17 of the Act on 28 February 2022 in respect of any prohibited act under any of those sections carried out for the purposes of the promotion and the draw.

(3) The exemptions are subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
