Bankruptcy (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 166 of the Bankruptcy Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Bankruptcy (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Table B of the Schedule to the Bankruptcy (Fees) Rules (R 3) is amended —

(a)

by deleting “$1,300” in item 1 and substituting “$1,550”;

(b)

by deleting “$200” in item 1 (a) and substituting “$250”;

(c)

by deleting “$800” in item 1 (b) and substituting “$1,000”;

(d)

by deleting “$5” in item 16 and substituting “$7”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 17, the following item:

18. On every certificate issued by the Official Assignee
