Environmental Protection and Management
(Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises)
(Amendment) Regulations 2025
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Environmental Protection and Management Act 1999, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Environmental Protection and Management (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and come into operation on 15 February 2025.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  In the Environmental Protection and Management (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations (Rg 1), in the First Schedule, in Parts I and II —
(a)replace “7 a.m.-7 p.m.” with “Between 7 a.m. and 6.59 p.m.”;
(b)replace “7 p.m.-11 p.m.” with “Between 7 p.m. and 10.59 p.m.”; and
(c)replace “11 p.m.-7 a.m.” with “Between 11 p.m. and 6.59 a.m.”.
