Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) Act
Chapter 309
Appointment of Authorised Officers
It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) Act, the Director of Medical Services has appointed the following officers to be authorised officers, with effect from 2nd February 1996, to exercise the powers under sections 11(2), 22(1) and 22(3) of the Act:
(a)all Assistant Parks and Recreation Officers of the Parks and Recreation Department; and
(b)all Environmental Health Officers attached to the Ministry of the Environment.
2.  Notification No. S 7 published in the Subsidiary Legislation Supplement to the Gazette of 5th January 1996 is cancelled.
