(Chapter 222)
Pawnbrokers (Amendment) Rules 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50(1) of the Pawnbrokers Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Pawnbrokers (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.
Deletion and substitution of rule 20
2.  Rule 20 of the Pawnbrokers Rules (R 1) is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:
“Fee
20.  The fee payable for a licence under section 20(5) of the Act for selling unredeemed pledges shall be $800 per annum.”.
