Animals and Birds (Veterinary Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 65 and 70 of the Animals and Birds Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Veterinary Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1999.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Animals and Birds (Veterinary Fees) Rules (R 8) is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (b) of item (9) and substituting the following paragraph:

“

(b) parasitological examination

$30 per test;

”;

(b)

by deleting paragraph (f) of item (9); and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item (15), the following item:

“

(16)

Membership fee – Quality Eggs Scheme

$500 per annum per farm.

”.
