Building Control Act

(Chapter 29)

Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the Building Control Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1996.

2. Regulation 3 of the Building Control Regulations is amended by deleting the following words:

“SISIR Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research”.

3. Regulation 101(2)(b) of the Building Control Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research” and substituting the words “Singapore Productivity and Standards Board”.
