Employment of Foreign Workers (Levy) (Amendment) Order 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Employment of Foreign Workers Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Employment of Foreign Workers (Levy) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2005.

Amendment of paragraph 5

2. Paragraph 5(1) of the Employment of Foreign Workers (Levy) Order (O 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$250” in sub-paragraph (a)(i) and substituting “$200”;
(b)	by deleting “$9” in sub-paragraph (a)(ii) and substituting “$7”;
(c)	by deleting “$345” in sub-paragraph (b)(i) and substituting “$295”; and
(d)	by deleting “$12” in sub-paragraph (b)(ii) and substituting “$10”. [G.N. Nos. S 231/2003; S689/2003; S 382/2004; S 510/2004; S 809/2004]
