Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Amount for Medisave Account) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1)(j) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Labour, after consultation with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Amount for Medisave Account) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Prescribed amount

2. The prescribed amount for the purposes of section 16 of the Act is $15,000.

Revocation

3. The Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Amount for Medisave Account) Regulations 1996 (G.N. No. S 117/96) are revoked.
