Passports (Amendment) Regulations 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Passports Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Passports (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 15th January 1996.
2.  Regulation 22A of the Passports Regulations (Rg 1) is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Entry endorsement or approval-in-principle card
22A.—(1)  An authorised officer may, if he thinks fit, grant a multiple-journey entry endorsement on a passport or other travel document or an approval-in-principle for permanent residence card to facilitate entry into Singapore.
(2)  Any entry endorsement or approval-in-principle for permanent residence card granted may be cancelled by an authorised officer and thereupon the entry endorsement or the card shall be void.”.
