Town Council of Marsiling‑Yew Tee
(Penalties for Late Payment of
Conservancy and Service Charges)
(Amendment) By‑laws 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(2)(c) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Marsiling‑Yew Tee makes the following By‑laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By‑laws are the Town Council of Marsiling‑Yew Tee (Penalties for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By‑laws 2021 and come into operation on 1 April 2021.

Deletion and substitution of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Town Council of Marsiling‑Yew Tee (Penalties for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges) By‑laws 2016 (G.N. No. S 120/2016) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

7.	Shop with living accommodation

(a)	$10 if the monthly charges payable do not exceed $100

(b)	$50 if the monthly charges payable exceed $100 but do not exceed $1,000

(c)	$200 if the monthly charges payable exceed $1,000

8.	Shop without living accommodation

(a)	$10 if the monthly charges payable do not exceed $100

(b)	$50 if the monthly charges payable exceed $100 but do not exceed $1,000

(c)	$200 if the monthly charges payable exceed $1,000

9.	Office, shoplet or kiosk

(a)	$10 if the monthly charges payable do not exceed $100

(b)	$50 if the monthly charges payable exceed $100 but do not exceed $1,000

(c)	$200 if the monthly charges payable exceed $1,000

Stall:

(a)	Cooked food stall

$20

(b)	Fruit, preserved and dried goods, fresh fish and seafood, meat or poultry stall

$10

(c)	Vegetable, bean curd and noodle, egg, ground assorted spices or miscellaneous stall

$10

(d)	Piece and sundry stall

$10

11.	Other commercial property

(a)	$10 if the monthly charges payable do not exceed $100

(b)	$50 if the monthly charges payable exceed $100 but do not exceed $1,000

(c)	$200 if the monthly charges exceed $1,000
