Fees (Reproduction of Maps) Order 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Fees (Reproduction of Maps) Order 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Definition

2. In this Order, “map” includes a map, plan, lithograph, print, tracing, photograph or airphoto mosaic.

Fees for reproduction of maps where copyright vested in Government

3.—(1) Fees for the reproduction of any map or part thereof or extract therefrom, the copyright of which is vested in the Government, shall be calculated and charged in accordance with the Table set out in the Schedule and shall be payable by the person to whom permission has been given to reproduce the map.

(2) When the number of copies or the actual area to be mapped falls between the figures shown in the Table, fees shall be calculated on the basis of the next higher figure or figures.

Revocation

4. The Fees (Reproduction of Maps) Order (O 19) is revoked.
