Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(2)(e) of the Land Surveyors Act, the Land Surveyors Board with the approval of the Minister for Law, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) Rules (R 3) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 3 and substituting the following item:

“3.	For balance lots under item 1 or 2 created consequent to excision of land by the Government or statutory bodies in the public interest, or for State Land balance lots under item 4 created consequent to alienation of land by the Government

$360 per lot.”;

(b)

by deleting the words “section 13” in item 5 and substituting the words “sections 13 and 13A”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “items 1, 2, 4 and 5” in item 6 and substituting the words “items 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5”.
