Animal and Bird Shop, Poultry Shop and Hatchery (Licensing and Control) (Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Animals and Birds Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Animal and Bird Shop, Poultry Shop and Hatchery (Licensing and Control) (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.

Amendment of rule 4

2. Rule 4 of the Animal and Bird Shop, Poultry Shop and Hatchery (Licensing and Control) Rules (R 2) is amended by deleting paragraph (1) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(1) The fee for the issue of a licence for an animal, bird, aquarium fish or poultry shop, hatchery or exhibition of animals or birds shall be $120 per year or part thereof.”.
