Customs Duties (Amendment) Order 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st January 1999.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Customs Duties Order (O 4) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word "VALUE" in column (4) against HS Codes 8473.30 100, 8517.90 100, 8522.90 100, 8529.90 100, 8532.10 000, 8532.21 000, 8532.22 000, 8532.23 000, 8532.24 000, 8532.25 000, 8532.29 000, 8532.30 000, 8533.10 100, 8533.10 900, 8533.21 000, 8533.29 000, 8533.31 000, 8533.39 000, 8533.40 000, 8534.00 110, 8534.00 120, 8534.00 130, 8534.00 900 and substituting in each case "KGM";
(b)	by deleting the word "VALUE" in column (4) against HS Codes 8541.10 000, 8541.21 000, 8541.29 000, 8541.30 000, 8541.40 100, 8541.40 200, 8541.40 900, 8541.50 000, 8541.60 000 and substituting in each case "NMB"; and
(c)	by deleting the word "VALUE" in column (4) against HS Codes 8542.13 000, 8542.14 000, 8542.19 000, 8542.30 000, 8542.40 000, 8542.50 000 and substituting in each case "MIL". [G.N. Nos. S 467/97; S 87/98; S 571/98]
