Food (Amendment) Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(1) of the Sale of Food Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Food (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Food Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 3 and 4 and substituting the following items:

“

3. Food (Export) Certificate

(a) $75 per certificate (in duplicate) per consignment.

(b) $5 per additional copy of certificate.

4. Food (Inspection) Certificate

$75 per certificate.

”; and

(b)

by deleting items 6 and 7 and substituting the following items:

“

6. Artificial sweetening agent licence

$105 per annum.

7. Irradiated food licence

$95 per annum.

”.
