Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(2)(e) of the Land Surveyors Act, the Land Surveyors Board, with the approval of the Minister for Law, hereby makes the following Rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1996.

2. The Schedule to the Land Surveyors (Survey Department Fees) Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “up to 10,000 square metres” in item 2 (b);
(b)	by deleting items 2 (c) to 2 (i);
(c)	by deleting “$18” in item 6 (a) and substituting “$30”;
(d)	by deleting “$7.50” in item 6 (b) and substituting “$12”;
(e)	by deleting the words “50 square metres” and “$35” in item 7 (a) and substituting the words “100 square metres” and “$70”, respectively; and
(f)	by deleting the words “every additional square metre exceeding 50 square metres” and “70 cents” in item 7 (b) and substituting the words “every additional 10 square metres or part thereof exceeding 100 square metres” and “$7”, respectively.
