Building Control (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the Building Control Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Control (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.

New regulation 115A

2. The Building Control Regulations (Rg 5) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 115, the following regulation:

“Fee for requisition regarding encumbrances on property

115A. The fee for any requisition regarding encumbrances on property —

(a)	for answering an inquiry involving search on Building Control records in respect of each property

$20;

(b)	for answering Legal Requisition through Integrated Legal Requisition System (IntReq) in respect of each property

$18.”.
