Passports Act
(Chapter 220)
Passports (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Passports Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Passports (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1996.
2.  The First Schedule to the Passports Regulations is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

1.  Fees for passport or other documents specified below:
(1) Republic of Singapore International Passport (validity not exceeding 10 years)
 
(a) 64 pages
$40
(b) 96 pages
$60
(2) Replacement fee for lost Republic of Singapore International Passport
 
(a) first replacement
$50
(b) second and subsequent replacement
$100
(3) Republic of Singapore Passport for travel between Singapore and West Malaysia (validity not exceeding 10 years)

(4) Republic of Singapore Diplomatic or Official Passport
Gratis
(5) Certificate of Identity (Form IMM(E)16) (validity not exceeding one year)
$15
(6) Renewal of Certificate of Identity (Form IMM(E)16)
$15 per year
(7) Certificate of Identity (Form IMM(E)63) (single journey)
$3
(8) Document of Identity
$10
(9) Seaman’s Identity Book (validity 3 years)
$15
(10) Renewal of Seaman’s Identity Book (validity not exceeding 3 years)

(11) Certificate of Identity for travel between Singapore and West Malaysia (validity not exceeding one year)

(12) Renewal of Certificate of Identity for travel between Singapore and West Malaysia
$15 per year
(13) Collective Travel Document in lieu of passport

2.  Fees for —
(1) Ordinary Visa

(4) Visa for aliens of any nationality who are permanent residents of Singapore for the purpose of direct re-entry from West Malaysia only
No fee.
3.  The nationals of the following countries shall be charged fees as shown below:

Holders of Diplomatic and Special Passports — no visa required

(2) Thailand:
 
Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports — no visa required
No fee.”.
