Drying of laundry, etc.

15.—(1) No person shall —

(a)

hang or place or cause the hanging or placement of any washing, towel, bedding, clothing or other article on any common property or in any open space except at or on the clothes drying racks or tubes erected for the purpose of drying such washing, towel, bedding, clothing or article; or

(b)

hang or place or cause the hanging or placement of any washing, towel, bedding, clothing or other article at or on the clothes drying racks or tubes referred to in sub‑paragraph (a) in such manner which, in the opinion of the Town Council, causes or is likely to cause nuisance, annoyance or inconvenience to any person within the Town or damage to any common property or the property of any other person.

(2) No person shall hang or place or cause the hanging or placement of any mop at or on the clothes drying racks or tubes referred to in paragraph (1)(a).
