Sand and Granite Quarries (Amendment) Regulations 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Sand and Granite Quarries Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sand and Granite Quarries (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1996.

2. Regulation 13(2)(j) of the Sand and Granite Quarries Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research” and substituting the words “Singapore Productivity and Standards Board”.
