Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 180(1) of the Women’s Charter, the Minister for Community Development and Sports hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Amendment of rule 5

2. Rule 5(1) of the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) Rules (R 3) is amended by deleting “$24” and substituting “$26”.

Amendment of rule 6

3. Rule 6(5) of the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) Rules is amended by deleting “$26” and substituting “$28”.
