Bankruptcy (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 166 of the Bankruptcy Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Bankruptcy (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2001.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Table B of the Schedule to the Bankruptcy (Fees) Rules (R 3) is amended —

(a)

by deleting “$1,550” in item 1 and substituting “$1,600”;

(b)

by deleting “$1,000” in item 1(b) and substituting “$1,050”;

(c)

by deleting “$6” in item 10 and substituting “$8”;

(d)

by deleting “$20” in item 14 and substituting “$25”;

(e)

by deleting “$2” in item 15 and substituting “$8”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item 18, the following item:

19. On every proof of debt submitted by electronic transmission
