(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2025
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Sewerage and Drainage Act 1999, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  These Regulations are the Sewerage and Drainage (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and, except for regulation 2(b) and (e), come into operation on 1 March 2025.
(2)  Regulation 2(b) and (e) is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  In the Sewerage and Drainage (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 6), in regulation 2(a) —
(a)replace “11(4)” with “11(4)(a) or (b) punishable under subsection (4)(c)”;
(b)replace “16(4)” with “16(5)”;
(c)replace “20(1) or (2)(a)” with “20(1)(a) or (b) punishable under subsection (1)(c), 20(2)(a) punishable under subsection (2)(d), 22A(6), 22B(5), 24(4)(a) (in relation to a contravention of subsection (1)(a) or (1A)) punishable under subsection (4)(c), 24A(2), 26(5)(a) (in relation to a contravention of subsection (1A)) punishable under subsection (5)(d)”;
(d)after “31(5),”, insert “33(7D) or (8B),”; and
(e)replace “38(2)” with “38(3)”.
