Maintenance of Parents Act

Maintenance of Parents (Prescribed Government Agencies and Statutory Bodies) Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14A(1) of the Maintenance of Parents Act, the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Maintenance of Parents (Prescribed Government Agencies and Statutory Bodies) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 15th March 2011.
Prescribed Government agencies and statutory bodies
2.  The following Government agencies and statutory bodies are prescribed for the purposes of section 14A of the Act:
(a)the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority;
(b)the Central Provident Fund Board; and
(c)the Housing and Development Board.
